Hello friends and familia!

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend :) I know we did.
On friday the guys played up near Kansas City in a tiny little town called Holden. Some friends from a near town met us there and we had fun and Nolan and I ended up staying the night and the rest of the band drove back. We had a blast as usual with our Warrensburg crew (it's about 15 mins from where they played in Holden). I drove my own car there after work on friday and it was officially my first road trip alone in this state :) I survived.
Saturday we got up after sleeping in the most comfortable I've ever laid in and drove back. Nolan's been in the studio almost every night of the last week and a half so he had to get back for that. He left and went to that and I went with Jimmy and Melissa to our friend Nichole's friend's house haha are you lost yet?? They had this AMAZING fire pit that we sat around all night. It was alot of fun. Nolan eventually came out around 11ish and we stayed for a few hours before coming home.
And then on sunday we got up and I had my first Lambert's experience. Lambert's is worldly famous. It reminded me alot of Babe's except for that you could get any kind of meat and they throw rolls. If you are across the room and want a roll just raise your hand and the guy throws you one across the room. It was kind of wild. And they walk around with sides like fried okra and stuff and if you want some say yes and they just start piling it on. It was neat! After that we went to the flea market/antique store by our house so I could get some decor for my office at work. Everyone at work keeps giving me a hard time about my walls being bare.. how it makes them think I'm not staying long. So I got some wall hangings and a clock and a mirror and of course some stuff for home too. Of all things, the flea market's name was STD!! isn't that hilarious and weird?

Today is monday obviously, so I am back at work and still just as tired as I was when I woke up this morning. When do mondays get easier? or when does your body actually get used to waking up in the mornings. I'm mucho excited for a long weekend coming up though! Plenty of sleeping in to do haha. oh and I bought my plane ticket for Chelsea's shower weekend so I'll see some of yall then! and I got my Missouri Insurance License in the mail today, I'm official.
