here i am again

i keep forgetting to keep everyone up to date on my life. so I'm going to be lame and do that list of things again like last time....

1. i have an exercise bike on my front porch and have for weeks... i think it's funny. the neighbors probably don't.

2. i also have a fridge sitting in the middle of my kitchen not working. it's like the worlds tallest island haha. no we got a new one from my office and the other one still works so we are being lazy and need to get it sold. weekend goal maybe?

3. our garden that i boasted about before.. not doing so swell. with this being one of the hottest summers in history, it's been hard to keep all of the veggies happy. we have been getting a handful or two of tomatoes which is nice.

4. we went to one of the coolest weddings ever last weekend!

5. my birthday was awesome! my sister came for a visit. Nolan sent me 2 dozen roses and got me a picture printer. exactly what i never knew i needed!! such a sweet boy. i love him.

6. we had an awesome sushi party recently (more like a month ago)-- i think we fed about 15 people and everyone learned to roll their own sushi rolls. so much fun! i love hosting cooking parties..and just parties in general.

7. the boys (HillBenders) are still continuing to do really well and turn lots of heads. they go to Canada next week! Canada!! Canada loves bluegrass.

8. the girls bought me a trip home for my birthday and we chose for me to come home Labor Day. I'm really excited... only about 2 weeks until then!!!! i can't believe that it's been almost a year since I saw them. Last time was at Chelsea's wedding which was October.

9. I told you last time that i got a bike from a friend... i rode it 2 miles "across town" to Missy's a month or so ago. i was scared because i still don't have a helmet and I'm nervous of the cars but it was fun! i feel inspired to ride more.. and then i got a hole in my tire. tire is fixed now... just need to get back in the saddle.

Ok i can't think of much today and there isn't much happening to tell in life lately. I'll try and update more.. I promise (wink wink).
